Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine in the Heart of the Barossa Valley
At Barossa Pho, we bring the rich culinary traditions of Vietnam to Angaston—right in the heart of South Australia’s iconic Barossa Valley.
Founded by Chef Anh Duc Dau, Barossa Pho is a celebration of authentic Vietnamese cooking, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and rooted in family recipes passed down through generations.
Duc began his culinary career after earning his certification at TAFE Melbourne, later honing his skills at Ferment Asia (2017–2022) and Lambert Estate, where he discovered a deep appreciation for the Barossa’s vibrant food culture.
Originally from Vietnam, Duc moved to Australia with a dream: to share his heritage through food. That dream became a reality in December 2023, when Barossa Pho opened its doors at 33 Murray Street, Angaston. With the support of his housemate Rachael Duncan and his former team at Lambert Estate, Duc transformed his vision into a warm, welcoming dining destination.
